This map was taken from a tourist guide. The left top corner contains the image of a Buryat God. You can see such wooden idols at the Buryat holy grounds, called "Burkhan's place" or "Obo". People usually stop at such places and put whatever they can, cigarettes, coins, etc., to make their further travel easier and trouble free. |
