Dear friends, we are sure you want everything go smoothly when you visit our severe Siberian land. We do hope, that the information, collected here, would be useful to you. If you want to make a stop over in Severobaikalsk or Nizhneangarsk, you will have to seek the information of where to stay, to eat, to be entertained; what to see, how to get to certain places, how to call people and companies here, and how to find them.

If you are intending not only enjoy the nature and beaches here, but are willing to see, feel, and learn more, then, you are supposed to know that:

visiting the protected areas around the lake is not free, you will have to pay a fee;
during the forest fire periods you will have to get a permission from the forestry company;
Severobaikalsk region is an area with a very low density of population;
traveling without a tour guide is dangerous;
you need to have some time reserved in case of a stormy weather on the lake;
you are required to have some warm jackets and footwear when you want to sail over the lake;
our sea - Baikal and the mountains around it, do require respectful treatment toward them.
